Our daughter has been at the Big Playhouse for over two years. We have always been extremely happy with the daycare. The teachers are very kind and helpful. Communication is quick and detailed. As our daughter has gotten older she has enjoyed the numerous field trips her class attends. We are so happy our son's first daycare experience away from home was with the Big Playhouse ! He started being in their care at the Richmond location when he was around a year and a half. The teachers were so kind and engaging which made his transition to attending daycare daily really easy. We were pleased to see a huge improvement in his social skills, language and independence as his time at the Big Playhouse went on. Receiving daily updates about his naps, food and activities put our hearts at ease and we got to see how much fun he was having ! As he approached the 3 year old mark we got to transfer to the Main and 44th location and we are are really pleased with the variety of activities planned for the kids each week from cooking classes, trips to the park and even exciting off-campus trips. The teachers at both locations were always patient, kind and eager to spend time with our son which reflected in the way he was always talking about them at home. The owners, Sehrish and Waqas, are so responsive to our needs, kind and considerate. We started in September when our son was 1.5yo. There's great communication between the teachers and family. All the teachers are a gem there and truly care for your child. Best of all, our son loves attending and is always so happy there. My daughter has been going to The Big Playhouse since she was 10 months old. She loves the facility, the care givers and of course her peers. BPH staff genuinely care about the kids and their development. They go out of their way to plan off campus events and organize fun activities. They've really built a strong community with the kids. The staff have always been super interactive on the app, which means a lot of updates and cute pictures during the day. I have my daughter 50% of the time, and I can't say it's the same for her other day care facility. My daughter is approaching Kindergarten and it's sad to think that her tenure at BPH will be over soon. My son really enjoys going to The Big Playhouse everyday. The teachers are really caring and patient with every child. They prepare different activities for the students everyday so they will enjoy everyday without getting bored. They have cooking classes, fieldtrips to nearby parks, pajama parties and a lot more. We could not be any happier with the level of care and attention that the Big Playhouse has shown our 3 year old daughter at the Main and 43rd location. It was her first time going into a daycare and the teachers there were able to make her feel comfortable and confident away from home. I am aligned with their teaching philosophies and values, and having the app as a means of communications throughout the day to let us know updates around their meals, potty, and activities throughout the day has really put us at ease with our daughter's transition, and ongoing care. The teachers are so friendly and accommodating to parents - Thank you to the entire team! We HIGHLY recommend the Big Playhouse as childcare to any family, with children at any age!Load more
